I think it's ironic that sangxjin is being reprimanded for "useless" posts by the users who have the most posts on the JSL forums. Not to offend anyone, but seriously, how many of your posts have been useful? Think about it. Some people have over 1000 posts on JSL. How many of them are just some simple comment that didn't really make a difference, and could have been left unsaid. That thread got closed because the people on it acknowledged it was useless, but seriously how many other threads have you posted on or started that were just as pointless. The only difference is no one bothers to go out and acknowledge that those threads are pointless. I don't think people really care anyways, most people are bored enough anyways, and posting on the forums provides something to do. As long as they aren't offending anyone, or hurting anyone, i don't see anything wrong with it. Additionally, it was in the random thoughts forum, a forum that's supposed to be unmoderated, yet still somehow gets moderated by some of the supermods, which I guess is cool.
If a thread isn't harmful to anyone, then leave it alone, and find other things to moderate. If you don't like such threads, then don't check them, it's as simple as that. They don't decrease the quality of the forums. If you really don't want spam to proliferate, then leave it alone, don't post and contribute to it.
yes, i agree completely. Well said TM11.
