TB Test??

How's a TB Test done?
& How do you correctly spell it out??

I'm asking because I'm going to do some volunteer work at a health center <mini hospital> and read to children in the pediatric clinic, and I need to take that test. The doctor whom I talked with over the phone told me that it's real quick and, I'm not sure if I heard right but, they'll be injecting some liquid under my skin to test for TB... :huh:

i forgot what it is, but a tb test is to check for tiberculosis...i think thats how its spelled

some sort of liquid is injected under the patient's skin....there will be a little bump there, a bubble of liquid under the skin....the next day the patient comes back. you feel the skin, if you feel a bump, then they have tiberculosis, if not then the person is healthy.....

i think thats what it is...i remember i had to get this for my job

yea i had to get that test done so i could volunteer at the hospital..

basically i went there... they picked a spot on your arm.. like on the other side of your elbow (lol) stuck a needle in...you come back a couple of days later ..... and they check the spot....

it's really no big deal....i got it done for free because i'm working for the hospital....


well my mom told me that when she lived in korea they injected all the kids with TB so they'd be immune to it....lol..... so whenever she gets the test done she comes up with the red irritation bumps wutever...lol on that spot....
