Problem with pop ups

Can anyone help me? I have this problem with pop up windows. Every few minutes all these pop up windows will come out of nowhere (I have dsl) I wont be on any type of internet program such as aol,IE, or netscape. When I wake up in the morning I have like 30-40 screen up. I clean out all my cookies, history, cache, and even got Popupkiller 8.0. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks in advance

you know sometimes pop up killers arent that good. it can block out some good things. for example if you need to login into something, it consider as a pop-up and may close it. so be careful on what kind of pop-up blocker you use.

yah thats y mines good.. like said above u cant turn it on and off anytime... the block just only lets u open one window for the ie and when it blocks something it will make a lil beep sound so if u click on a link that wil pop up to another window.. just turn the stoper off and click on link.. then turn it on

i have stop the pop up
blocks every single pop up, and theres two modes, simple and aggresive mode. agressive mode blocks EVERY SINGLE popup and only lets ONE internet explorer to be open at a time. simple is like pop up killer program. so far, i think stop the pop up is the best one i used so far. just hold ctrl if you want another window opened.
www.downloads.com
search stop the pop up and download. its not like cnet download manager which installs more spyware on ur comp, its a direct dowload from a direct link

- nah nah, try that ad-aware (http://www.lavasoft.de) and scan your whole computer.. 'cause it may be spyware (such as Gator's GAIN) that you accidently downloaded and is causing all the anonymous pop-ups.

spybot should do the work. its better than ad-aware and gets almost all the spyware off your computer.

- yeah, either 2 of those spyware scanners.. and afterwards, get yourself a Norton Personal Firewall 2003 which detects and keeps invaders from accessing your computer or blocks any incoming connections. it even has a built-in pop-up stopper.
