Press the . (del) button on your number pad and press F2 as well. Press them back and forth while your computer is booting BEFORE it beeps.
Generally one of those two buttons will get you into your BIOS.

i doubt you try to "tweak" anything, unless you know what you're really doing. if you do, go ahead. but dont just do something because you heard a little here and there, and end up burning out your pc.

well all comp have a different way to enter their bios. i press F2. whats the brand of your computer or is it a generic one? before you turn on your computer let the monitor warm up and then turn on the computer so you could read everything on your screen. it should say what button you should press to get into your bios.

some computers doesnt tell you what to press in the beginning to enter bios. my monitor takes 2 seconds to turn on, and by the time its on its already at the winxp loading screen... so id rather press my key for bios RIGHT after i hit the power button.

The main convention for getting into your bios is repeatedly pressing the Del key when your computer is booting up, but like many have already said, some bios' are just different.

There's one motherboard by intel that doesn't let you enter your bios by means of keyboard, but by actually changing the jumpers on your motherboard. Only then, can you change the settings in your bios.
These motherboards are a pain to deal with....
