Stupid

I'm an idiot. And I was just stressing about school and my grades when I see this forum. How convenient. On to my ranting.

The past three days have been horrible. I had some big 'thing' each day. Monday, I had a report due. Tuesday, I had two essays to turn in. Yesterday, I had a history test. I'm a huge procrastinator and I ended up doing everything last minute. I slept around 3 to 4 for the past two days. Which of course made the day after horrible... I slept through my classes.

I wonder why teachers don't spread things out. Don't they know that we can't possibly do everything all at once? gOsh.

On a more general note, I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm nearly done with the school year, ack I'm going to be a junior. Everyone else seems so sure of themselves: they know what college they want to get into, they know the right activies to do so it'll look good, they know what classes to take, etc. I feel so behind everyone. I have NO idea what college I want to apply to, I have ZERO community service hours which is HORRIBLE and right now, my grades are slipping. I have a C in history. I don't want a C on my permanent transcript. grrr. I should be studying right now to try to raise my grade up to a B, but I'm browsing forums. I think forums led to my low grades in the first place. That and my stupid stupid brain...

The reason why teachers cram in alot of things at the end of the year is because they are lazy themselves. Thats the way it happened for me this year. 3-4 tests each subject spread out pretty evenly, and then on the last week, they all cram in tests on the same day, projects, and papers. It's because they didn't have enough to base their grading on in the earlier part of the quarter so then they have to get more point value in there or else the final might end up being a HUGE HUGE percentage of your final grade (finals are huge, but shouldn't be huge huge ).
they're the real procrastinators...blame the teachers hahaha
