making a relationship last long time

What do you think makes a good strong relationship?

well not that i have ever been in a good strong realtionship so I cant say this is from experience lol but I think communication, trust, liking some of the same stuff so u can always have somethin to talk about, and being able to act ur self comfortably around the other person. haha i dunno!!

lasting relationships

I think there are 3 important factors that make a relationship last:

1) Trust
2) Communication
3) Devotion

I am currently in a long-distance relationship and I've been in this for about 2 years now. I don't think the relationship would have lasted as long if we did not have all three factors in our lives. I never take my boyfriend for granted and I try to keep the romance going by doing little things for him like making him a CD of all of his favorite songs or sending him a box of his most loved chocolates (yes, he has a sweet tooth). I trust him completely because from the beginning, we've already committed that cheating is definitely a behaviour we would not tolerate. And lastly, we talk all the time. We don't just talk about sweet nothings but we also tackle the challenges that each of us had faced for the day. I can honestly say that this has been the best relationship I've had but make no mistake, keeping a relationship..whether it be long distance or not, takes a LOT of work. ^^

iono what really makes a good relationship cuz i never been in a real long one ...

but my friends have been together for a year and some months .. and they told me they never been in a fight before! hah .. the girls all scared .. cuz she's like .. is this normal??? well that's cool for them ..

they're just real chill and really understanding of each other i guess .. ( i gotta find out their secret! )

I believe it takes a lot of things to make a relationship last long... but comfort has to be at the top...

I don't think I could ever really be with someone for a long time if I don't feel comfortable around him...

i think it will work out for a while if you treat him/her nicely make them feel wanted, give them nice things, talk to them and understand whats happening in their lives.
