Tail Lights
okay...here'st he thing...wif civics and stuff you can use a heat gun and heat up your taillights and then peel off the coloured film to make your own cleared lights. I was wondering if you can do that wif bmw taillights. I was thinking about removing the amber and then painting it red myself so it's like all completely red except the reverse lights cuz I don't wanna pay like 400 bucks for them.
my friend also suggested just paint the outisde of the taillight and then put a clear coat over it..but I dont' know how that would look.

uh.. i dunno what kinda civics and stuff u talkin about but u can't do that to honda taillights.
as far coloring your ambers you have 3 options. buyiing them, vinyling them, or painting them. depending on what kind of tailights you have you can buy some red vinyl and place it on top of your ambers. i know newer cars with a certain kind of taillights can be done .forexample, rsx, 98+accord, 02camry. new celicas, etc. look at their tailights compared to yours and you'll see different quality.
painting also works but only on the previous mentioned cars. dunno how it would look with your car.
buy'em on ebay.
