socrates
do any of u guys no where i can find a primary source document from ancient greece written by another philosopher other than plato or aristotle? ^^;
well, socrates never wrote down any of his philosophy. All of the stuff we know of him is found in writings of plato about him, as in simulated dialogues he wrote down and such. Aristotle may have written about him as well, as you stated, but You won't ever find any other "documents" about him for that reason.
If you want modern interpretations of his philosophy i'm sure there's a plethora out there.

you mean philosophers that have commented on his work? of course, i'm sure there's plenty. Not like i know it off the top of my head though, i'm sure there's plenty.
I'd just read plato and aristotle's stuff, i mean another philosopher's interpretation isn't going to be more socratic philosophy...it'll just be there interpretation. It'd be easier and less reading to just read plato/aristotle stuff and then you can think of all the interpretations thereof.
