i dont get it..is it an OS or just an upgrade?

i think its the next version of windows for desktop.....so yes.....it is an os, n also an upgrade, in d sense of upgradin from one version of windows to d next......i think......

ive been sharing this off an ftp for a while its newest version of windows coming out sometimes next year. they may cdhange the name not be longhorn

its so early in stages its not in beta, its in alpha

yeah i managed to get myself an alpha release. didnt have the time to test it out though.

A: Microsoft originally said that we could expect Longhorn in late 2002 or early 2003, but the release was recently pushed back until late 2004 or early 2005.

have you tried it? if so, how do u like it? is it really buggy right now?
