GEOCITIES DOES NOT ALLOW HOTLINKING

meaning they dont' allow pictures hosted on their servers to be posted anywhere except a geocities site.


Angelfire.com and Tripod.com also do not allow this.


however...last time I checked Tripod.CA does allow hot linking. but be aware that they have a tendancy to delete your account. I've had 3 accounts and they were all deleted..I am currently on my 4th. but this is over a span of 2 years.

Zeetec.net also allows hotlinking however I've never used it.

homestead.com also allows this...but they are not giving out permanent free accounts anymore. if you know anybody who has had an account since 2000 or early 2001 then they most likely still have their free account. 8mb of space but they allow 1024mb of transfer every month.

you can also buy a permanent account and have a lot better stuff.

tripod.CA does allow FTP access, homestead does not with a free account..however it does allow ftp access with a paid account

I dunno about zeetec.net cuz I've never used it.

I'm using my free homestead account..I signed up like 2 years ago. sorry..I don't have space to share..like I said...it's only 8 megs of space. talk to jusun about free hosting.......actually..h/o.....I might have something fo ryou
