The Power of Testimonial?

How should we determine what is true? More specifically, to what extent can, or should, we trust what others tell us?

unverified assertions are the way to go.

I don't trust anything without scientific proof.
Of course, that's just me.
The truth can always be proven with science or math.
Anything else is just an idea.

i trust personal experience above anything else. I prefer not to fall into the frozen limbo of questioning whether or not to trust my senses because that will lead nowhere. If we don't trust something we won't progress at all.

testimonials are all good and stuff...but it's better to go through an amazing experience yourself instead of listening to those of another person. and if you havent... there are still things yet to come
