A Pentium4/AthlonXP would beat a Xeon anytime in terms of typical consumer usage... running office2k, playing games, web surfing, etc.

Quadro4 series sucks for typical consumer usage which translates to playing games. The extremely expensive card is not meant for consumer graphics but toward development. 3dsMax and Maya flies on a Quadro... =D

If you meant both for server and professional workstation use then my apologies...

I would say the Radeon 9700.. King of Vid Cards for now.. =D

Also a Seagate Cheetah X15 (15K.3) 15,000rpm Ultra320 SCSI Hard Drive...

One of them Cinematic Monitors that Macintosh puts out...(If I had a Mac which I don't but those things are off the hook)...

its alright i know what you mean. i was telling you guys my opinion of pretty high-end stuff. i mean whew the stuff i mentioned are pretty damn expensive.
