Hmm... why do I like korean music???? Hmm...

I think that I like korean music because it's got great rhythms and tunes... It's just plain good!!! I'm Hmong and I've always liked korean music... I also like chinese, japanese, western and traditional hmong music..... I have a wide variety in tastes of music. I listen to meditation music to rock music to hip hop and more... I'll even listen to orchestra and opera music!!! Don't ask why, I just have a significance for music!!! I love instruments too!!!! hahaha..... Iyah, I'm getting off track!!!

Korean music is just... good! I know a lot of non-koreans who like korean music.... Trust me, there is A LOT where I live!

why do you like to wear italian brands when you're not italian? why do people like chinese food when they're not chinese?
(ok so those are lame examples. but still...:rolleyes )

huby40's right. maybe because they like it, and maybe because it's just good stuff. k-music offers something different. I know one kid that listens to foreign music, solely because he can't understand it. People have different reasons, but it doesn't matter anyway. I think it's refreshing that people take interest in other cultures, and broadening their horizons, rather than just staying ignorant and close-minded.

yeah its good for people to expand into other cultures, I like Japanese music too. K-Pop is the best music in my opinion, all my friends (mostly non-korean) listen to it, I think its cool k-pop has pulled in so many diverse nationalities.

Lightbulb i thinkin

i'm thinkin that k-pop is veerd more towards the youth, the image it gives and the kinds of music it puts out has an emotional and mental impact on the youths of today. Youths of today want to seperate themselves from the rest of society and k-pop helps em'

thats my educational opinion...
my personal experience

it just ****** ROCKS!!!, the music, cute gurls, tight dancing, gewd harmony just pulls ya in... :rolleyes

I'm not Korean *Hmong girl actually* and I love Korean music because it is different--and I like the style and the cuteness of it all....also I find that a lot of Western music deals with drugs and sex and all that nasty stuff....while K-Pop is able to approach music with a pureness....hehehe......from my point of view anyway....I also find myself learning new things everyday too with K-Pop---like Korean culture and words--which I find very cool and fun...

Do Koreans find that offending??--when others of a different culture talk to them about their culture??-- I dunno but sometimes it seems like it when I go to Korean shops or Karoake with my Korean friends--it just seems weird....was just wondering... *not to offend anyone*

i'm half korean and half white. i kinda listen to k music, but more into k hip hop and u.s. hip hop. my question is, why do you listen to korean music? if you like it, but what's the point of liking it if you cant speak the language? [for ppl who dont speak krn] if you dont comprehend the language, then wont enjoy the full potential of the music and their [artists] albums.
