cd burner problem

my cd burner the yellow will keep blinking
for what would seem like forever

and when i try to burn a cd, it will just spit the cd out

im using an artec 32x12x48 burner...please help

dont wanna resort to buying a new burner

this has happened to me before

try fooling around with that little thing that you can move on the cdr drive next to the light. sometimes if you move it all the way in one direction it wont work properly (i think).
