Accent

What kind of accent do you people have?
If people from our area went to Texas or something the residents of Texas would say we have a "New Jersey accent"

mmm...

you know, I haven't talked to an american so I don't know what kind of accent they would detect on my talk...

now that's something I've got to know before I die

hMm..i have no idea what kinda accent i have..
i always thought i had an american accent?
cuz obviously i dont have a korean fob accent..
but..one time..my friend called up this one guy..
and somehow we ended up talking to eachother.
the first thing he says after hey..is.."are you korean?"
i'm like.."yea..how do you knoe?"
him.."i can tell by your accent."
i was very surprised...so maybe i have a korean american accent ^^

its like this asian thing... sometimes u can juss tell wut their nat are.

after watching crocodile hunter and 3 hours of lord of the rings commentary i think i can do an australian/new zealand accent

all their short e sounds sound like long E sounds
for example: yeah = yeeeeeeeeee
venomous=veeeeeeeenamous

all their long A sounds like long I sounds
for example: snake=snYke
mate=mYte

all their EER sounds make a eeYA emphasizing the ya sound
for exmple: beer=beeYA
hear=heeya

all their er sounds make a uh sound
for example: under=unduh

all their ow sounds make a yow sound
for example: now=nyow

all their short a sounds(only when its in the beginning of the word) sounds like ay sounds
for example :and-aynd
now you can speak with an australian accent!

my accent is uuh...mix of english, chinese, malay and hokkien words. so it becomes 'singlish'. it's really hard for other to understand, ppl say its as good as german hahaha

well I guess you could say I have a midwest accent... I swear, sometimes I think I talk like a hick too... because I live in a hick town and I've been living here since 2nd grade... :sad:

whenever I say "yeah" I say, "yee-ah"!!!


my favorite accent would have to be the english accent... it's cute and sexy at the same time! I love hearing english guys talk!

i guess i still kind of have the korean accent.. ^^;

Yea, don't you two plus me go to the same school..
I have an accent sometimes..Filipino.. rarely, but it likes to sneak up on me sometimes. When speaking, or trying to speak, Filipino, I have the worst American accent. I'm in between?

people over here would have what people like to call "not having an accent," or "american accent." I've heard people say that a lot haha kind of funny. Anyway, describing it i'd say it's more nasaly than a british accent and hmm, can't think of any other ways to describe it. Anyway, it's the midwestern/eastern(maybe) US accent.

i get confused sometimes. i'll be speakin english to like.. a white friend, n then speak korean words once in a while.
i have a korean accent tho.. and an american accent.
