ok, do you have partition magic? get it of kazaa. once you got that make a new partition for linux and then restart and install it. i know, sometimes i go through the same problems while trying to install linux , sorry but thats just about all i can do to help.

hah. lindows is basically an idea of someone, to create a basic linux os, with the options to put all things compatible with windows on it. so you can use windows programs in a linux environment, or so ive heard.

linux/windows hence lindows. it was made for windows users who want the stability and the other great features of a linux OS with the simplicity of windows computer. its not free (wish it was) but you can find it pretty easily on some p2p program. its still in the testing stage so the best right now is like a uber-beta version. it works fine and the end result will look something like the beta version.

i remember watching about it on techtv...but eh. like sangxjin said, it's in the beta testing phases. i'm not going for it, yet. my computer still screwed up from so many useless programs (kicking it works, family computer - compaq [before merger])

I finally got the software, but its the beta. You think i should install it and try it out?

Posted by sangxjin on 09-19-2002 11:42 AM:

its up to you. it might have some stuff missing depending on where you downloaded it from. but if your dying to try it out, go ahead.
