hey ppl!
just wondering if anyone has played this game Jet Set Radio for Dreamcast before..cos it's one of my favourite games!

there is also Jet Set Radio Future for Xbox, anyone played em?

Yo I can't beat the 2nd level of that game, I borrowed it from my friend.

I liked Shenmue 2 better.

i dont have Xbox so i havent really played the second part yet..i only played it once on my friend's xbox. the level is so huge!! i like the cel-shaded graphics...so many other games started doing it after them.

anyone played Dynasty Warriors on PS2?

in this game you are in a graffitti gang and you have to spray the city of Tokyo wit your gang trademark. And you are also on inline skate which have some sort of magnetic power to it, so you can go in really fast bursts when you want. and you can do tricks and stunts throughout the whole city. diff places have diff missions, sometimes it's to win rival gangs, other times you have to spray the city while escaping from police. the game's something like tat!

you skate around in the game and tag various things, it's a really fun game although the premise may not make it seem so. You can do tricks while skating and you have to input certain commands to tag stuff. It's a really fun, simple game, and the graphics are amazing. It was one of the first games to come out with cel-shaded graphics, and afterwards, there was an influx of cel-shaded games and animation in the market, I don't think it was the first cel-shaded game, but after it's release, there seemed to be a noticeable rise in cel-shading. Don't quote me on that though haha.

oh yeah, the soundtrack to it's pretty tight too.

yes JSR is the first game to use cel shaded graphics, i know for sure cos i read it in Electronic gaming monthly! after tat a lotta other games started to follow it!

the soundtrack is great! i like all the music from Hideki Naganuma..really nice funky stuff.

i had a final year project to create a game and we wanted it to have cel shaded graphics too. sure it looks easy, but it has a lotta programming involved. so we ended up making 'fake' cel shaded graphics!! hahaha..lame asses

I wanna play JSRF for xbox.. but I don't have an xbox and don't know a lot of people who do have one... plus I don't like xbox haha. I'm not sure if this is true, but is kick the can crew on the soundtrack of JSR future?

i only played it on the Xbox once...really cool!! The level is HUGE! and also a lot more interaction, and more people to push around! haha..also there is multiplayer races!
i don't like Xbox controller..so big and bulky. and the design isn't very nice..but you get used to it after awhile! just like dreamcast's controller! my favourite will always be playstation haha

check out those songs by hideki naganuma..i like all his beats! funky stuff!! its so cool to play a game that has such a nice soundtrack, sometimes you end up moving to the beat while playing haha..

oh actually there are 2 names, one of the japan version and the other is american version. i think jet grind radio is the american version! which name do you prefer? set or grind?
