that was ALL pure ignorance.

The dict comes from dico, dicere, dixi, DICTum - to say.
That is why the dictionary is called a dictionary.

the menstruate comes from MENSTRUUS, -a, -um meaning MONTHLY.

Herpes comes from the Greek Word, Herpein- to creep.

im not making a big deal. I am just educating people for what the meanings and roots behind the words really are.

whoa...well when it comes to educating people, there comes to a point where people need to learn logic. and this educator is just rushing the process even further into its stages not yet explored.

by the way, that is sexist. makes me think it's kind of ironic though, women fighting for their rights and say they can be independent...and yet they need bras. the mystery of women still have yet to be determined. i'm not sexist; i love'em, can't live w/o them. sometimes i just wish they can make up their mind.
