how much are you willing to spend?

i wouldnt bother buying a cheap vidcard. keep the one you have right now, that way you can have a faster way of saving ur money to buy that computer you want.

lol. those r dead. rite now on my dell i got geforce 3 Ti. one of the best cards out except for 4, which is even better. if your looking for a good cheap card. buy a geforce 2. or look for one on ebay.

get a geforce4ti4200.
its less than half the price of the higher end ti4400, 4600 or even 3ti500, but with a minimum proformance difference (with ti4200 outperforming 3ti500 in most benchmarks). geforce2 technology is quite dead, as it lacks a vertex shader and does not even have full hardware support for directx 8. hence, i also wouldnt recommend the geforce 4mx line, as these cards are in fact based on geforce2 and even a geforce3 is more advanced.

with that said. geforce 4ti4200 is the way to go. at newegg, its selling for around 100$. just so that you realize the bargain pricing, geforce4mx460 sells for around the same price, while it cant even preform half of 4ti4200's standards in benchmarks. geforce3ti500 sells for around 200$ but trails behind 4ti4200, while 4ti4400 and 4600 are only slightly above the 4200 but carries a price of 200$ and 300$ respectively.
