comes out 2003 in the US
Buht its EXTREMELI expensive wen it does come out,
40 for the network adapter
80 for tha ps2 harddrive
10 monthli for tha playonline online service
50 for tha game

Now tha playing tha actual Game:
Yoo choose a party of four (Knights, BeastTamers, Mistrel.....)
Yoo travel on the world on chocobos (On the Net) fighting encounters (monsters, beasts, dragons) and level up...
Then yoo use your characters to battle other people online
the fights are set up like other ff's, mostli like FFX, yoo hav the ATB's (Active Time Battles i think thats wuht it is) wait for your turn and make your characters attack, defend, cast magic..... yoo kno...

Buht rite now Its doing REALLI badd in Japan, Playonline and Square had alotta trouble tryin to support everyone online, tha server crashed a couple tyms and alotta people are tryin to get refunds and stuph. This may not be good for fans here if Square cant keep FFXI and Playonline runnin smoothli, if they cant support Japan how they gon support the gamers all around the world!?!?

i guess that's it. you can't really rely on console gaming to go online. they're still experimenting with that shit, except for sega...they already know how to do that shit.

ragnarok online international beta is closing next week. wont be back for up to 3 months max.

and i just started playing a week ago :(. oh well, it was fun while it lasted (with the crashes and the bugs and the lag)

thats what im planning to do. beta testing for pc in japan already stopped so tat menas theyll be making a pc version shortly after the ps2 version comes out.

if you gonna play that damn game...you'll be spending enough money on a whole new gaming system before you even start the damn game...its fucked up..

unless your computer is not good enough

im pretty sure the game wont have that many problems as it did in japan cause they have all this time and even delayed the release date to fix up everything...right now in japan everything is a lot better for FFXI. they didnt have to pay for membership from may all the way till august 1st cause they fixed everything...
