Korea vs. Japan

Too bad this never happened in the WC... Oh well...

I'm just wondering who people think would win? Japan or Korea?

Personally I'd think Korea would win. After seeing their speed, fitness and teamwork, I'm sure they'd beat the Japanese now. Japan plays good too, but I'm going with Korea on this one. They're just so fit and quick! Like the US soccer coach said, Korea could compete in a Track meet because they're so fit.

well japan is ranked higher than us.. but korean beat the top 5 top 10 teams, so i think koreans have the advantage in endurance and speed, but i can honestly say the japanese can score better than us...but i really wouldn't know who would win, i'll keep my faith with my country though, dae han min gook!!

Ah, but not anymore... Korea's now ranked 22nd while Japan's ranked 24th.

I really think Korea can beat the Japanese. Japan played in the easiest group in the World Cup while Korea had to face Portugal, Poland and the US. Sure, Korea squanders more chances but they're a better team, technically.

i think so too...the home field advantage needs to happen, if theres no spirit and support for korea, they might lose to the japanese who have the support of the fans

FRANCE was ranked 1!! but didnt score even 1 goal! not even 1!
in 4 years a team usually changes alot. like people get old(french team), new people get on the team, and people get better. i think the ranks dont mean anythin.

true! i think korea should rank higher... at least be in top 15... the rankings are all screwed.

some teams play terribly and yet they are top15.

The ranking thing is based on past performances in international games. Korea has not been particularly good in the past and they dont play as many major games as the euro teams.

They cant be moved so far up the rankings on the strength of just the WC games..Just wait until they start playing more..Then they will move up more.
