I am soooo lost

I was reading something and it led to a reference to the "Beat Generation" I thought I'd search wikipedia and get more information. After seeing Jack Kerouac being listed there I decided that it was something I couldn't enjoy. It has links to other "generations" so I then checked those out too. Anyway there were related to hippies. Now all this is just getting worse and worse as I continue. Charles Bukowski is one of the writers who I'm suprised TZ hasn't rammed down our throats.

I've read most of On the Road by JAck Kerouac, and I must say that he is a degenerate. His book sucked more than he did, or maybe less. I don't know. It was supposed to be some sort of autobiography anyway, which is why it's so difficult to tell. Anyone who is offended by this statement, please state your case. I mean, you don't really have any justification for saying it anyway. Let's just call this an exercise of the socratic method here in this wonderful free land of America.
