i disagree. While the children may have been immature, the elderly man is obligated to act responsibly. Kids for the most part play jokes- one cannot really expect more of them because fooling around with friends is a part of the childhood experience. Once the child gets older, he/she takes on the trappings of an adult, learns what is socially acceptable, and most of all learns how to act appropriately in a given situation. However, this man clearly has not and should be punished.

yea... that still isnt right even tho he's elderly.. he should have told them the virtues and morals he was brought up with when he was younger so that they may learn from the wise

I feel the same way. The elderly man shouldn't have pointed a gun at the children. I mean, if the snowball actually was lethal or something.

The only reason Americans have the right to bear arms is for self-defense. This elderly man was clearly not in any danger.

agreed. He did not do anything really except scare kids. No reason to overreact, and the only thing i would think they would charge him with is having a concealed weapon. At least, that better be it.
