the picture i have of mer creatures is not pretty. if they were to somehow exist they would live below the surface and never get any light. Their skin would be white or extremely dark, and they would have other features that would be the result of adaptation to the water. Just think of their hair, growing and growing, how long it would be and seeing that jet through the water. Their faces would not look like ours it would seem, gills and different eyes so as to be able to accomodate for underwater life. You have to wonder hwo they would ever catch anything to eat. This all reminds me of blue submarine no. 6. that was a good idea, but if i saw more maybe the anime would turn out to be more great than it seems now.
