Action/Adventure, Romance and Suspense/Horror
Set in the secret nocturnal and supernatural world of vampires and werewolves, two groups that have been at war for centuries, this is the story of a romance between a female vampire warrior, Selene (Beckinsale), who's famous for her strength and werewolf-hunting prowess, and a peace-loving male werewolf, Michael (Speedman), who wants to end the war.

MPAA Rating: R for strong violence/gore and some language

i just watched this movie..i really liked it. in the first scene, i thought salene looked so muh sheet uh when she jumped off the building and landed on her feet...just her 'charisma'? also, i was thinking, who are the 'bad' people in this movie? was it the wolves, or the vampires? it's sweet how he fell in love with sonya *sigh* but yea..cool effects and action..i thought the story behind the action was good also. loved the vampires's eyes, so blue. everything seemed so dark, guess that's why they named the movie what they did. =]

yeah i saw it awhile ago and everything was so dark but dats how its supposed to be. but it took awhile for my eyes to get adjusted. overall it was pretty good. but dat guy from felicity couldnt act... -_- some of the vampires had some pretty cool outfits... the women dat is. some of the gowns were really pretty.... hehehe
