that's really not that impractical. Charge it in the sun, and I'm sure the solar cells retain the power for a while. I understand why you laugh, but it doesn't seem that stupid.

i saw that in a cantonese movie one time. this guy invents a solar powered flashlight. in the dark, yu can point another flashlight at the solor powered flashlight and BAM!

The wording's rather awkward: "Solar Powered Flashlight"

Almost makes it seem as if the sunlight directly powers the flashlight.
