Laptop or PC?

For all of you college or soon-to-be college kids out there, what are you bringing? Laptop or PC?

I think I'm gonna bring a laptop just because it's more mobile and I can take it around with me to do work i.e. library, other dorm rooms, etc.

Laptop and maybe one of the broken down old PC's just for the hell of it...or just the laptop.

just a labtop. most colleges now hav wireless interenet on campus and stuff. its easy 2 take 2 classes and better for me 2 type notes cause my hand writin looks like chicken scratch

notebooks are too expensive for me, i'll go with desktops. then again, i have 4 years to save up money! i'll still go with a desktop, they're not so easily stolen

my mom just told me today to search for a laptop. interesting, but sweet

Depends where you're going to school...if you're int he range where you can visit often, a laptop so you're not stranded at home. Otherwise, a PC is in order because more bang for the buck.

when i go to class i bring my pocket pc..i just bought it from dell
i bought the keyboard too..so i can type up my lecture notes
