contract strike

our school is having a strike right now. alot of tha teachers are complaining that they dont have a contract. its getting to tha point where i just wanna tell them to shut up because everyday before school starts they surround the school parking lot protesting. then they do it again afterschool, and since i live on the same block as school, it gets so annoying, its bad enough i see my teachers at school but to see them running around yelling at the top of their lungs, it gets so iritating. But i guess i would protest too if i had no contract and i was a teacher.

how come they dont just give a notice that they're gonna stop showing up to class? is that prohibited by law?

there was also a stirke at a pepsi bottling company in white stone nyc i think

anyone know how that went?

i remember 4 yrs ago (i think) some teachers in my elementary school were protesting and threatening to strike. then i heard my district took our school bond money and gave it to their salaries i dunno if that's true, but they're at it again. when i went to that board meeting a couple days ago a LOT of teachers were there (from my elementary and junior high schools). not that many from my high school, tho. if they do go on strike, we're pretty much all screwed.
