College Touring
im going to be touring a couple colleges this spring break.. but does anyone know if there's a price on touring colleges? and if so how much?
thank you
as far as i know, there isn't. at Columbia, tours run free and if you contact admissions, they can even get you housing for a night or two with a student here. all free. just bring cash for food and stuff. also, i think there's Days on Campus or something for students who have already gotten in... it's like 2 or 3 days they plan where they provide you with meals and have all these planned things... that you have to pay for though. the most fun time to come visit Columbia is during reading week in May. classes are over, we have a carnival and a concert (my freshman year we got Outkast!!!)... everyone is half relaxed and half crazy because of finals xP haha. anyway, have fun touring colleges, and good luck.
pay for a college tour??? hell no. they want you to go to their school. don't be afraid to step into a campus.. even if you dont attend the school.. or dont plan on attending. just call up admissions and ask them when they have tours. schools usually have tours on saturdays. i guarantee.
