books in school
have you read any books in school (for english) that you've actually enjoyed?
i really liked the bean trees, cyrano de bergerac, and bless me, ultima. those are some books i'd probably have read on my own, except for cyrano. i would neve have read a french play by my choosing, but i'm glad we read it in english bcuz it's actually pretty funny.

i liked the majority of the books i read in hs.
EXCEPT for farenheit 451, julius caesar, and the sun also rises (hemingway). i hated all three with a vengeance.
i loved r&j, hamlet, lear, macbeth, othello.
lord of the flies (william golding)
death of a salesman (arthur miller)
streetcar named desire (tennesseewilliams)
waiting for godot (samuel beckett)
a long day's journey into night (eugene o neil)
sons and lovers (dh lawrence)
and i can't remember the others.
