why was it that you missed school?

I'm doing okay, I think I could be doing better. Right now I'm at school and I'm a bit bored, but I'll get to go home pretty soon. I'm a bit apprehensive about the upcoming weekend, but this is a normal thing I think. I have to finish my part of a 30 page paper my friend and I are doing for a project tonight (that's due tomorrow), as well as finishing a paper that's due tomorrow as well. I think I'll play some go when I get home to ease my nerves.

You should definitely check in the attendance office if you're in danger of failing a class you need to take to pass. It would suck quite a bit if you didn't graduate.

Yeah, it is possible to fail due to a lack of attendance.

I agree with you aznkid, New York State is run by a bunch of idiots (a la the physics regents and this fabulous attendance policy)
