how to look cool when it's COLD
February Fashion News
Celeb's Winter Style
When it's so cold outside that you have to wear practically every item in your closet to keep warm, it's hard to think about style, too. At the recent Sundance Movie Festival in Utah, celebrities were faced with this exact problem: how to have red-carpet style in below-freezing temperatures. Some stars found the challenge too tough. Mila Kunis fromThat 70s Show layered too many saggy shirts and jackets, while quirky actress Chloe Sevigny attempted to top her frilly party dress with an oversized coat. The stars that did make the grade included Jennifer Lopez, in an all-black ensemble and Penelope Cruz, who paired a cream coat and furry beige beret. The secrets to their success? Keeping it simple. Mix and match your warmest, plain color coat, with a variety of bright scarves, hats and gloves. Don't forget to add a cute brooch or pin to your lapel with a coordinating purse to complete your look. The bottom line: great accessories are all you need to stay stylish in the snow!

Legwarmers Are Back
Toss your fishnets, because this winter there's a brand new way to accessorize your legs: legwarmers. Believe me, they're nothing like those rainbow striped, bulky styles worn w-a-a-a-y back in the day. Now legwarmers are much sleeker and more versatile. Try wearing them with a denim mini and stiletto pumps, or even your coziest sneakers. Not happy about showing off your legs? They can also double as armbands, worn with a sleeveless shirt, for a more punk look. Pair this rocker style with a loosely tied necktie and channel your inner Avril. Shop for legwarmers online at www.dosty.com, they have great colors available and cute details like buttons and grommets. If you prefer to shop on the street, check out Urban Outfitters instead.

What's Old Is New
I have these jeans. They're tight, cropped and acid washed, with no pockets on the butt. Sounds tragic, right? That's what I thought. But then I rolled them up a little, and everything changed. All of a sudden, when worn with a pair of flat, knee-high boots, they were jockey-chic, like something I'd seen on the catwalk. I figured this new take on the doomed jeans might translate to other misguided items in my wardrobe — like an unflattering tee. What if I cut the neck wide enough to fall off one shoulder? Could it go from couch-wear to Flashdance sexy (another big trend this spring)? After a few snips, it looked amazing with a pair of skinny black pants and my Converse sneakers. I could go on, but why take up your time when there's an entire closet for you to double take? All it takes to transform your old clothes is a little imagination... Good luck!

i want some of those knee high boots.. but keke.. i doubt i'll wear them ^^
so... leg warmers are becoming the "in" style now? never wore them before.. some are cute.. but i juss don't like those rainbow colored ones xP
[i wear my reg cloths with a sweater or puff jacket lol or a heavy sweat fit lol
i hav a puffy jacket too, but wearing it makes me feel so cumbersome and BIG! i don't like piling on layers and layers of clothes cuz then i move really awkwardly. i wish someone would design some kind of thermal shirt-thing that isn't too thick but runs on som ekind of power to keep me insulated.
how do you look cool when its raining?? -___________-
and when you're waiting at the bus stop ... and drenched ... and soaked to the bone ...

haha i got htis yellow rain't suit that goes over your pants and it come with a jacket its liek overalls
raining
Dab on some water resistant lipsticks, mascara, and eyeliners available by some of the leading cosmetic brands.
Tuck those denims away; they are simply discrepant during monsoons. Bring out those cottons and lighter fabrics, there's nothing better than Capri pants and three fourths. Absolute Nirvana!
Make a fashion statement with bright cheerful umbrellas and raincoats, also an ideal option to keep the rain showers and gloomy moods away. Pick these mood enhancers at leading stores and vendors on the roads.
Slip into trendy sneakers and sandals. Avoid leather boots and high-heeled footwear.
Stay away from whites and other light colors, unless you want muddy designs all over them.
Ensure that your hair is devoid of any oils or gels, they don’t make a pleasing concoction when fused with water. Follow these basic rules and you would want the rain showers to bestow on you. Splurge in the rains and give the frogs a complex! Go ahead; take on the rains!

i just go out with my normal cloths have a hoodie and a umbrella lol i dress boring hahhaa
i hate umbrellas. eck, they're not much protection and if i forget gloves my hands are freezing. i'd rather just put on a hood and stick my hands in some pockets so they'll be warm. or just walk bareheaded when it rains! i love that feeling, but not when it's pouring. haha then i drip all over the place. sprinkling/drizzle is nice to walk in ^^
