every year at least once they make a movie like this and almost every time its a complete success. i think its just the way how many people are interested in the past and probabaly just history even though they wont admit it. really this movie is going to make a whole lot of money cept we wont know whether or not it was worth it until it actually coems out.

hehe whoops..yea what i meant was liek they make movies on historical events, even though theyre mostly inaccurate and only made for the sake of entertainemnt rather than for both entertainment adn uh..education? dont know..yea like pearl harbor and titanic..they made lots of money and i thought that both of them werent as good as they should have been

Gods and Generals

I SO DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
the movie is a Civil War movie. now its mostly is a Southern view. most of the time u see yankees dyin and showin Burnside the moron general he was. and the usual good showin of General Lee and Stonewall Jackson. i mean i didnt think the movie was bad because i believe it was a complete southern sympathy movie but the fact was it was so damn long. we r talkin about a solid 4 hours. the movie has an INTERMITION a freaken break in the middle of it....also there isnt much action. there's about at max 1 hour and 1/2 at max. the rest is the political view of the south and the plannin of the south. if u r goin 2 see the movie for action dont expect alot, if u r goin for drama dont expect alot.

After seeing the trailer, I was highly anticipating it. It looked really promising. However, if you read some of the reviews the top critics put up on sites like www.movies.com or www.rottentomatoes.com, you will be suprised to see they do not agree.
