Finally bought my Dream Car.

As of today.. I special ordered a 2003 Tiburon 4 cylinder, 5 speed.. with 360 watt infinity stereo and and low wing. But i have to wait 8 months.. because thats when i get back from Deploymetn :(.... I just can't wait. Its my favorite color black.

the inline 4 block is made of iron which handles boost better.


But only apexi makes turbo kits for tiburons, and I dont even think they're available yet.


It would be a waste of money to try and "mod" this car.

Hyundai Tiburon is one of the most popular sports cars to tune now. I just bought a Import Tuner magazine.. they were once Anti -Hyundai.. now the advvertisements and articles are full of Tiburons and Elantras.

anyways.. I bough a I4 because the v6 is just too expensive.. my budget is very tight.. insurance is going to be soo high because its a sports car. I4 is cheaper to maintain and the Tiburon Rally car and Apexi mod car use the I4. I'll probablyu lightly mod it..

LOL you just bought an import tuner. You read it, and that means you know everything about "tuning" cars.


Tell me, if it isnt a waste of money to "mod", what "mods" do you plan on making to it? Turbo? I/H/E? ECU? Throttle Body? Suspension? Pistons? Crank? Cams? Cosmetic mods? Spoiler, Lights, Bodykit, CF hood, Underglow, Decals, Seats, Gauges, Nitrous, Weight Reduction?

Seem's like you want to spend alot of money for a car that wont win races, OR impress your friends.

That CRX is a powerful sports car. You wont ever come close, and neither will any of your friends.

who cares. it's not all about being the fastest shit on the road. all that really should matter is feeling good about your car. so wut if he decides to put shit in or on his car that won't make it as fast as a powerful sports car (that probably cost more to build than any of us could earn in a year)? why does it seem like you're always tryin so hard to make people feel bad about their cars?

nobody's trying to be a pro drag-racer, and do 8.8 second quarters in their daily driver. if you can find a way to make time spent in your car more enjoyable, and that'll make you happy, you should do it.

Tiburons would work brilliantly, if someone made a supercharger for the V6 models. As is, you' d be better off with a SRT-4 or MazdaSpeed. They have WAY more potential than ANY Hyundai.
