japanese fashion - non-no magazine feb 03 issue

my parents recently came back from singapore for chinese new year. i asked them to buy me fashion magazines and they bought me 3 in chinese and 4 in the japan airport!! hehhee
here are some of the latest trends in japan, according to "non-no" magazine feb 03 issue





flowery print shirts



plaid work shirts


light-weight, loose, cotton shirts


cute shirts and jeans with big belts


analysis: these styles for younger, teenage girls definitely show dat spring is here. the colors seem to get slightly subtler, but the prints can still be pretty bold, which is japan's trademark. the fabrics are softer and looser to give the body more comfort.

i usually look thru chinese tabloid mags in the lollicup next to my school :P and some these outfits remind me of some of the international students who go to my school too

wow all the models in your first post have short hair too. i like the plaid work shirts like a stylin farmer haha

the third shirt is cute.. but nothing i would wear thoe. flowers aren't really my thing.. haha.
