i need to know Byzantine Empire and Russia help

question 1- Justinian's Laws... i need why they are so strong and uniformed codes

question 2- How Byzantine affected early Russia and other early eastern Europe countries

i need this before friday.... just alittle facts.... COME ON SEON HO AND CHRIS I KNOW U GUYZ CAN HELP ME!

Justinian Code- Corpus Juris Civilis- Body of Civil Laws. Collected and revised. Roman laws --> preserving ROman legal traditions.

Made contributions in architecture, engineering and art.
a) Hagia Sophia ("Holy Wisdom") - Dome, Arches, columns, collecting Greek/Roman influences.
b) Mosaics - Bright, colorful, images -> holy/religious
c) Constantinopole - Build walls around the city

The Byzantine Empire affected the later development of RUssia and other nations of Eastern Euripe. a) orthodox Christianity b) written language- cyrul & methodius. cyrillic alphabet c)Art & Architecture - onion domes d) autocratic rule - czar (comes fromthe latin word caesar)
