nvidia's fastest card
the fastest card
nvidia geforce fx 5800: its the heaviest graphics card ever seen weighing at 1.5 pound. the additional weight is due to the unique FlowFX heat-pipe cooling system (the green thing) exhaust cooling instead of the fan
sweet

God bless
thats a tad heavy for a video card
wahahahhaaha
nice tho nice
ill stick with my g4 ti4600 thank you very much
so its gonna get heavier and heavier, yet they can make a CPU the size of a pGaZiF
i think theres gonna come a point where the revolutionary card will not be the one that shoots out the most polygons, but the one that doesn't break ur AGP slot. *cough cougH*
I'd rather get the Radeon 9700 pro. The difference between the Radeon and the Geforce FX is pretty small according to recent benchmarks.
With that in mind, the Radeon is cheaper, it's lighter, it takes less power to run, takes less space, and it's not loud(I hear the Geforce FX sounds close to a vacuum cleaner), for almost the same performance.
By the time FX5800 Ultra is out ATi will have their R350 out in a month, which is supposedly far superior.

the fx can wash your dishes and clean your house too! for only 3000.
the card will come out 17 days.
That looks almost exactly like Abit's Outside Thermal Exhaust SYSTEM (OTES) for its Siluro Ti4200
Nvidia is getting raped on all sides by ATi. First of all the Radeon 9700 is still somewhat able to compete with the new FX chip [bad mistake Nvidia]. On top of that the 9800 [R350] is supposedly faster than the FX. And its said that ATI is aiming at the Geforce 4's by releasing a Radeon 9600.
btw. the die for the 9800 is .15 microns. Which is bigger than the FX and the 9600's but yet its alot faster. I wonder how the geniuses at ATi do it.
The 9800 is supposed to sound like a pin drop compared to the Fx. Its about as loud as a Athlon computer with 3 fans. And thats pretty damn loud.

omg i read the review for this sucker and damn when it heats up it really heats up. the core temperature of the sink would be 250°F. damn!!! melt your mobo
i think the fan comes into play depending on what your doing. at "idle" im not sure what happens but when the card realizes your running ut2003 at max settings, the memory and core get pushed up and the thing you call the fan comes into play.
