the hours? Is this new?

I haven't ever seen this movie, but i read a book called "The Hours", the one that's a spin off of "Mrs. Dalloway"...is that what the movie is based off of?

the hours

Drama and Romance
1 hr. 54 min. Based on Michael Cunningham's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, the film interweaves the stories of three women - a book editor in New York (Streep), a young mother in California (Moore) and author Virginia Woolf (Kidman).
MPAA Rating: PG-13 for mature thematic elements, some disturbing images and brief language.

ah ok, yeah i did read this book. It's hard to appreciate it if you haven't read "Mrs. Dalloway" i think, or realize several things. I wonder how the movie handled this? Anyway, it's an all right book, but i haven't seen the movie. hm hm.
