what book do ya recommened for learning to use photoshop??

books dont really help unless u want to read a lot... i went to b and n and they had some but there werent that good... search the web go here:

follow tutorials you find online. You'll learn all the tools and nice tricks. It'd probably be more beneficial than reading a 400 page book on how to use the tools and not how to create any desired "effects."

Try this book : Photoshop 6 Effects Magic if you have tried those online tutorials.
it is published by New Riders and its price goes around : US$45.00 when I bought it about a year ago...

Full of effects !! (as its title goes to) you'll find it helpful for further effects making, great book, if you have Photoshop 7 , you'll should try its Photoshop 7 Effects Magic.

where did u guys get photoshop?? if it wasnt free. from where did u get it? i wanna use it and learn about it cause it looks cool, but iuno nething bout it.
