Solipsism is interesting and hard to refute one way or another.

For those who did not understand from the initial post - It means that the believer indulges in an ideology that believes he/she is the only one that exists in the universe. Even the universe does not exist, everything could/is a fabrication of one's own mind. All interactions, all people, all things are created by the person. Essentially, one lives in their own mind, one's own dream in a way. just knowing that the only mind you can verify is actual real is your own.

Everyone on this forum is a product of my magnificent omnificence, hehe i was trying to make that rhyme...i forgot how to spell that word actually.

I think it is very possible that i am the only one that exists, but the impossiblity of reaching a resolution makes me not care. Either way, if i am the only one, or if other things really do exist, it does not matter. i favor believing that others do.

i only recently bumped into solipsism while browsing through the threads at alt.philosophy. this interests me because when i was little, no more than 6 years old, i had this crazy idea that everyone around me were false, a fake. for a moment i saw this world in grayscale, and only i had colors. it was as if i was light, and the existance of the whole universe was the product of my own. its interesting, because i still remember very clearly when this idea occured to me, the surroundings and all. ive always thought it was just a mislead idea, an outcome of my own naiveté, but then, maybe it wasnt afterall.
