Names

I'm really bad at remembering names. What are some tricks you guys use for this sort of thing?

wish i had some tricks, usually i forget and i just ask again and again until i remember instead of pretending like i remember who they are.

If I only see the person for a second I won't remember his or her name. But the more I talk to someone the more likely I am to remember the name because I'll associate the name in my head with what the person's saying.

Ooh~ the other day, we kinda played a game.

We took the letters of their first names, and paired it with a name of a food item that starts with that letter.

Example: Megan Macaroni

yeah someone on the pakistani student's association board suggested that as an icebreaker activity for the freshmen/newcomers to meet each other. Needless to say, the proposal as unanimously shotdown.

We chose another dumb game.

take a picture of them and put it in your palm. or use post its and stick it on their forehead.
