reminds me of ghibli



MILLENNIUM ACTRESS, director Satoshi Kon's follow up to 1995's PERFECT BLUE, is the story of Chiyoko Fujiwara, an actress who was one of Japan's most popular movie stars from the 1940s to the 1960s, when she went into virtual seclusion. When a documentary filmmaker named Genya discovers that her old studio is set to be destroyed, he decides to try and interview the reclusive actress. His pursuit of Chiyoko provides a jumping off point for director Kon to reveal Chiyoko's fascinating life through a series of flashbacks as Genya discovers his idol's life was far more adventurous than her art.

Release Date: September 12th, 2003.

i never ehard of this before or the movie of it taht came out before this one..ionno..maybe worth checking out

me either. i guess after the big hit of spirited away.. they wanna bring more anime here.
