I need help choosing a mouse

Its basically for gaming and i have a lot of mice in mind. I've recently bought the MX700 disregarding what people say about wireless mice and depending on what i thought then were helpful reviews. Boy was i stupid. The mouse still has that millisecond of laggy response time that will kill you in CS.

So i've narrowed it down to the following.

The MX Series Mice. [The MX Engine seems to be pretty accurate so]
MX300
MX500

or the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0

I need help, and recommendations.

well depends on how much money you are willing to put. if you dont care... go for the bluetooth one. it looks nice and its powerful. i want to get that one.

but i'm not that rich so i dont want to buy that one. so i have this one. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouse/imo_info.asp
i bought this about 2-3 years ago and still love it. it even replaced my wireless mouse.

lol i know what you mean. 30 feet of wireless. i think bluetooth was kinda stupid there. like i am able to see anything on my screen 30 feet away.

oh i just remembered. since you said you were a crazy game player so i have to suggest you to pick this mouse. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?p...mp;languageid=1
this is logitech's probably coolest mouse. dual optical!!! i want it!!

ALL wireless mouse sucks ass. OMG... i have one, im returning it. spazzes like a bitch and is the worst at gaming, no matter what the distance is.. and hes right. the millisecond delay will kill you.

not all of them do. i used to have a wireless mouse, it couldnt be better. no lag time or any delay. the only thing i did not like about wireless mouse was it's battery. i have to replace it like every 2 months. so they still need to improve in that

Posted by eddiee on 04-18-2003 07:03 PM:

yea they need a charger...when your not using it you put them in that charger and charge it

i think logitech has one of those

i keep it real with the dell stock ball mouse. piece of shit came with my pc when i bought it. but im still good in games with it.

i had that piece of shit too. it does spazz when batteries are weak. the cost of replacing the batteries should outweigh the price of the mouse in a couple of months. delay is fucking horrible. i should've known to avoid the logitech mx700 after using wireless. the optical sensors are great and all and the radio frequency might not bother those you use it for anything but gaming, and i must admit its not that bad for wireless but theres that little lag that always bothers me. its not that ergonomic either because my hands are too small.

oh yeah and about the dual optical. i cant get it because it doesnt work with my steelpad.

i need one of the mx series mice other than the 700 or the microsoft ie 3.0. that should do it... only 3 more weeks of starving lunch and i should have paid back all the money i owe to him from paypal.

the ms bluetooth mouse has a weaker optical sensor than that of the logitech mx series mice. so whats the point if it works 30 feet away but still doesnt deliver accurate readings.

yep i know what you mean. the optical mouse are "suppose" to run on any surface but i disagree with that. i used to have this really tight smooth mouse pad but cursor will sometimes jump. kinda annoying. so i had to switch my mouse pad

IMO the intellimouse 3.0 explorer is the best gaming mouse on the market right now.

found from 35-50$ it features 5 buttons, the mouse is well shaped..

it responds well, and has both the mouse penis and the usb penis. (lol)

5 buttons = pwnitup
