Time

Never-ending is the hurrying
Always moving with no hesitation
Sometimes walking, sometimes scurrying
It’s only obligation
Is to continue on forward
Trying to stop it is impossible
We can't make it run backwards
We think escaping it is something possible
Sometimes it can be a cure
It can heal our wounds that are dark and deep
But it isn’t always something pure
It can add on to our heavy and wearisome heap
Time is our friend but also a fiend
All we can do is to remain confident and keen
