y = -2x..... i hope it isn't too late, hehe

Math is allright for me... esp. Algebra
But things can get pretty ick when it comes to worded problems.
it could be too late
but here it is.. the work
x+2y=0 (take a "x" from both sides)
2y=-x (divide both sides by 2)
y=-(1/2)x
then switch x's and y's
x=-(1/2)y
solve for y by multiplying both sides by -2
y=-2x is the answer
:rolleyes
