If i ruled the USA...

i copied this from Cross-x.com, but i liked the topic a lot hehe. So what would everyone do differently?

if i ruled the US, i would first off, pocket a couple million into my coffers; work on stopping middle-eastern conflicts; concentrate domestic affairs towards insurance, the elderly, and the poor; enforce a stricter punishment code for jaywalkers; eliminate large-scale monopolies.

If I ruled the US... I'd make sure that everyone had a home and good support (I just feel so sorry for those beggars who live on the streets of big cities), stop the conflicts between the Middle-East, make sure that people aren't paying taxes for prisoners in jail, and try to stop prejudism... I think that's it...

If i ruled the USA i would probably work harder to fix the enviroment and get rid of nuclear arms. Send them somwhere like pluto. Not to jupiter cause if they blew up it would create a second sun.

If i ruled the USA i'd...

1) completely privatize social security
2) give the UN a substantial military force and such so that they actually have some kind of power.
3) We'd get out of Israel
4) Disarm all Nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. Our conventional deterrence outpowers all of those anyway and we can actually use it!
5) Increase funding towards Nanotech and Stemcell research
6) Get rid of aff. action
7) stress rugged individualism, and spread the message for everyone not to be victicrats
8) Make Spanish another official language of the US
9) go and kill Saddam Hussein, Robert Mugabe, Milosevic, Arafat, Osama Bin Laden, Mullah Omar, Abu Shariff, other terrorists, and assorted warlords in colombia and pakistan.
10) Legalize gay marriage, adoption, and whatever
11) Make women be eligible for the draft
12) give more money to space colonization research, and not this stupid space exploration which just wastes billions of dollars
13) Abolish the Truman doctrine and the Neutrality Acts, of which we won't go in and help nations unless we are involved and that we can't give money to foreign gov'ts.
14) Create the XAF (i just made it up, it's the Xeno-Army of the future;pronounced zaf), basically we give more funding towards giant mechs (gundam) or gears (xenogears lexicon) and create an entire force of these giant gears of which we have trained people in the XAF operate. We'd create these massively agile giant mechs made for specific environments, (air, water, land, desert, forest, all-purpose). Then we'd replace our troops abroad with like 5 gears each to keep tabs on our foreign people.
15) if point 14 goes well, abolish the marines, navy, airforce, they're a waste of money now with the XAF (yeah, i know it's not that great of a name)
16) if we don't want to kill the above outlined political figures, we can "accidentally and conveniently stomp on them with our gears."
17) Proclaim no official religion of the USA
18) not help other nations unless they ask us, they all hate us even though we aid them now. Withdrawel will make them realize what we do.
19) Create space coloinies, and Gear docking bay's in space.
20) Rule the world "Unofficially" (unofficially must be there)
21) create hellified security throughout the US that is unknown to public and other countries (i.e. covert "what they don't know can't hurt them...and in this case go to court")
22) eliminate soft money donations, and limit campaign finance. (i don't care a whole lot bout this, but it will give more money to the gov't)
23) covertly set-up NMD
24) mandate the creation of space-tours, hence becoming a crucial part of the tourism economy. So NASA can actually pay back from all it's excessive spending.
25) Abolish SETI, and let NASA do it.
26) Legalize human cloning, growing of organs, etc.
27) And i would write my own speeches, and give them to the public. (if i didn't have time, i'd go Extemp! haha )

that doesn't even matter, i'd be ruling the world unofficially so there'd be no conflict. . I'd let you guys think you ruled the world and then stomp on you with mah gears haha j/p

if i ruled the US i would buy Welsh Farms and Tropicana and start from there.

well i probably wouldnt be able to do much because of congress and the senate.

the real power lies in the military. If i were head general or whatever, i'd set myself up as the dictator and then i'd chill for a few days in the white house and pocket a million dollars or so and go live the rest of my life in a comfortable house (not too big though) Invest my money get richer and live a comfortable life until i die. Maybe get married or something.
