anticipated albums of 2004

so yea..what are your most anticipated albums of 2004?

one of mine would be the new nine inch nails 'bleedthrough' album. if anybody here has heard of them then they prob know that he releases an album every 5 years. and this one would be the next after their 1999 release of 'the fragile'

It's actually college dropout, I had the fake promo, and now I downloaded the real one that he had made changes to, so that he could combat bootlegging, but i actually think i would like to buy it when it comes out.

another album to add to my list which I had forgotten - Rakim's new album. I think Dre's album will also be worth listening to, I might check out eminem's new album but I'm not really looking forward to it.

utada's US debut?

uh..she debuted in US before she went to japan. she went under the name of Cubic-U here in the states. in other words....not her US debut

Cubic U was an indie release and the country didn't see too many copies, however it did go on to be released again in Japan in the mainstream. It would be a strange occurence that you would ever find a "Cubic U" CD at your local music store. This year's well..."Release" would be more of a debut per se to the public

A single was released in the US from the label "LiquidSoundLounge" and all the rest of the songs were written in English on the Cubic U album by Toshiba-EMI and the album was sold in Japan

I thought Cubic-U was released as an international cd evenstill. It was in the US, but since it was not on a US record label, or maybe it was, but it still costed liek 22 dollars since it was an international cd, as i heard anyway.

That's because the true "album" was recorded in Japan, so if it was in the US, it was an import
