Exclamation Motivation and Religion

So i had a conversation about how some people dont get motivated... Now what a hypocrite this guy is!! This person says.. " I dont have any inspirations" when if you dont have motivations what makes him go to school? where are his morals? THis convo turned into a religious conversation consist of ,Why people should beleive in anything that isnt true or real? so i was like " you gotta have faith" he says " but faith isnt true" ... See what i think is There are trues and lies.. but theres also a gray area in between this and thats where you have 2 be my friend...
What you people think?

there has to be a motovation in life... wutz the point to live then? i mean even sitting your lazy ass and watch tv all day, there should be a motovation somewhere in your life. Religion... yeah it's true faith might not be true, but why not trust it? ancient writing were about him so there were some facts on what every u believe in...

i donno much ur asking about... are u asking about our thoughts about religion and our motovation or about what we think about ur friend???

If he says that i wouldn't even bother continue arguing with him. He has the audacity to say something like that, and will never be able to back it up, doesn't sound like a debate that would go anywhere except a "you believe what you want and i'll believe what i want", if that. He's certain about things he shouldn't be, which is stupid.

I don't have faith but that doesn't mean I lack motivation.
I'm sure your argumentative friend is a real winner.

Lack of Motivation is another way of saying "look at me, I'm lazy!". I say that while lack of motivation is pretty hard to get rid off, there isn't any point wasting your life away doing nothing at all. Thats just my two cents.

Now about Religion... hmmm... I say believe in what you believe. If anything though, use Religion as a base for your thoughts, opinions, and beliefs. That's why religion exists in this world and why people say that removal of religion is like removing hope. For example, there would be no hope for me if I didn't believe God gave me life as a gift that I have to cherish and protect, to use to the fullest, then I'd be screwed over with no motivation right now.

The guy you're talking to sounds very depressed, lazy, and finds no reason for existance in life. Not to sound like your parents or anything, but that kinda thinking is dangerous, and while it won't necessarily lead you to being a bum in the street or working for McDonalds the rest of your life, it can drive you pretty damn close to that.

But it's all about opinion though. You choose to believe in God, and to have in faith, DO NOT let anyone sway that. You choose to have motivation, and to work hard to strive your goals, DO NOT let anyone sway that either. You believe what you want to believe, and that's what makes you you, let's leave it at that. Don't argue with others if they cannot be swayed.

If there's one lesson in life, trying to change others to your liking is pretty hard without breaking the moral laws of human rights. If anything, change yourself instead, though for the better, and if they don't wanna change, so be it, their loss. You can't force that guy, to do what you want him to if he doesn't want to do it, even if you throw every evidence at him to prove him wrong. If he stands by his errors so gladly, then so be it, leave him be.
