New version of aim

The new version of Aim sucks, don't get it. I switched back to the old version thanks to help from a friend.

This new version doesn't let you use dead aim. It lets you get multiple screen names but the process is a little more tedious and sometimes has errors and stuff. Well you also can't use tabbed ims which kept the desktop neater. Also there's this random beeping and my friend says there's spyware.

Which version would this be?

I'm a little slow on the uptake.

i think after aim 5.0 it used too many useless things.
all i need is direct connect, and file transfer...other than that....too many wasted resources

haha theres that eye button on the corner that ghosts you and whenever you ghost a small window pops up on the people you have you on your buddy list that you signed off..i didnt know what it was at first so i kept pressing it and people started yelling at me haha.

i cant use deadAIM

i'm using aim 5.5 and i'm using middle_man as a plugin. i think i'm still downgrading to aim 4.8 though

where can i get the old aim version exe file?
