love, this miserable mess
scratched, torn, tamed
hoping for the day i'll be blessed
trying to forget the day it rained

so tired of trying
ripped, worn, blame
always ends up in crying
it turns into a meaningless game

i walk with this hole in my chest
bare, open, pain
hiding my sorrow, showing my best
doing this theres nothing to gain

but i gaurd my heart
shame, regret, strength
i am wary from the start
and hold those at a length
